What has our Guide prepared for you?
– I’ll meet you at your hotel/accommodation in the city of Porto
– I’ll start by introducing you to the city with a short tour of the historic center and the downtown area
– The main highlights, such as the Livraria Lello, where you won’t have to wait in line, we can skip the line, the Igreja do Carmo, where we’ll see the magnificent tiles on the outside and the Igreja da Carmelita, where we’ll visit the inside to appreciate its beautiful gilded woodwork. We’ll also visit the city’s Old Jail and stroll through the Jewish quarter, the Tile Museum and take a break for a coffee and a pastel de nata.
We’ll then head to downtown Porto, the São Bento Tiled Train Station, where we’ll visit the interior with the tiles that tell the story of Portugal. We continue on to Porto Cathedral
Porto Cathedral, one of the best viewpoints in the city, Ribeira, the D. Luís I metal bridge, the Porto Stock Exchange, Rua das Flores and much more.
