The José Maria da Fonseca Family, with a tradition in wine production and almost 200 years of history, is delighted to welcome yours!

A special program has been prepared with all the members of your family in mind, including the little ones. We start with a guided tour, which begins in the Museum Room, with a brief explanation of the company’s history. After a walk through the garden, we visit the cellars: the Adega da Mata, where Periquita wine is matured, the Adega dos Teares Novos, where the Periquita Brotherhood is held every year, and the Adega dos Teares Velhos, where the oldest muscatels in the house are stored. At the end of the visit you can taste premium quality wine and muscatel, accompanied by a regional board made up of cheeses, sausages, olive oil and regional bread.

A fantastic surprise is in store for the little ones during the wine tasting. They’ll have their moment too! Two very special children’s juices will be available, ready for tasting, allowing them to complete the task in the same way. An incredible moment of family togetherness in the same experience, without distinction. At the end, you’ll be given crayons and drawings to color in.
