Spend a very special day in a special program with the José Maria da Fonseca family

The José Maria da Fonseca family, with a tradition in wine production and almost 200 years of history, is delighted to welcome you!

 

Guided tour of the House Museum, followed by a tasting of 6 wines and lunch or dinner in the presence of one of the family members who currently runs the company.

 

The tour begins in the Museum Room with a brief explanation of the company’s history. After a walk through the garden, we visit the cellars: Adega da Mata, where Periquita wine is matured, Adega dos Teares Novos, where the Periquita Brotherhood is held every year, and Adega dos Teares Velhos, where the oldest muscatels in the house are stored. At the end of the visit you can taste 6 wines, carefully selected by the winemaker for this experience.

The most intimate moment of this experience will take place at lunch/dinner, which will be attended by one of the members of the José Maria da Fonseca family who currently manages the company. You will be able to share moments of wisdom and flavors with the experience of a generation, all in the first person. A truly unique opportunity!
