What to expect from this experience

Ride on the Rabelo boat just for you and your group, as long as you want.

We sail on an itinerary of your choice, and you can stop for baths on the river, if conditions permit.

Sunbathe, picnic your meal or ours if requested, have lunch, enjoy a drink, maybe a Port wine….

We advise navigation upstream, in a fantastic and quiet stretch of the Douro River, without national roads or traffic, to see the terraces up to the river, centenary buildings of vineyard farms, in a unique landscape considered World Heritage by UNESCO.

On itineraries for an amount of one or two hours we provide free audio information about what we see on the tour in: Portuguese, French, English, Spanish and German, to listen comfortably, and in safe mode, on your own mobile phone. For your comfort we do not have general sound systems in boats.

The boat has an open and closed area, so we can sail all year round, and in any weather condition.

Install the Magnífico Douro app on your cell phone for free and it will play each comment in the respective location, in the language of your choice between Portuguese, French, English, Spanish or German.

Our audio guide system is available for Android and IOS. Install the Magnífico Douro app for free before arriving at our pier. Open it and choose the language. Then, select the one-hour tour and download its content. Arriving,at our pier run the app and it will be activated automatically. During the tour, the comments will be presented automatically at their respective locations. When running, this app does not consume data.
